Operating since 2015
Kaapihut chain of cafes started its journey in mid 2015 when we opened its first cafe at Fun Square shopping mall in distt Sangrur of Punjab India.
Kaapihut chain of cafes is started with a vision to promote the real south Indian filter coffee in other parts of India and overseas.
South Indian filter coffee is a coffee drink made by mixing frothed and boiled milk with the decoction obtained by brewing finely ground coffee powder in a traditional Indian filter. The drink known as Kaapi, is the South Indian phonetic rendering of "coffee".
The drink is also referred to as Madras filter coffee, Madras kaapi, Kumbakonam degree coffee, Mylapore filter coffee, or Mysore filter coffee. Outside India the term "filter coffee" may refer to drip brew coffee, which is a distinct form of preparing coffee.
Kaapihut has different variants of franchises. It can be setup as a food truck or as a full fledged cafe with 100+ people sitting arrangement.
Franchise costs range from 3+ Lacs INR to 60+ Lacs INR.
First, setting up a franchise of any brand involves commitment and risk. Second, location is very important.
